The time limits for applicable events are the following:
- 21,1 km in 3 hours
- 10 km in 2 hours
- 5 km in 1 hour 30 min

All entrants must be amateurs as defined under the Athletics
South Africa rules, and not be under the following ages on
the day of the applicable race:
- 21,1 km Road Race: 16 years
- 10 km Road Race: 15 years
- 5 km Beatle Run / Walk: 9 years
Proof of age must be presented on request on the day of the
race.

Marshals and traffic officials must be obeyed at all times.
Failure to comply with their instructions may lead to immediate
disqualification.

No seconding or vehicles on the route will be allowed. Sufficient
refreshment stations will be provided on the routes.

All entrants will participate under the rules of AGN and
ASA and it is the athlete's responsibility to be familiarised
with the rules.

|
It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure that he
or she is medically fit and healthy to participate in any
of the events.

|
The race committee reserves the right to accept or reject
any entry.

|
Proof of age must be presented on request on the day of the
race.
|

Licensed runners:
- All entrants must be in possession of a valid 2010 licence
number which must be worn on the back of the running vest.
The race number issued by the organisers must be worn on
the front of the running vest.
- Athletes competing for a category prize must wear official
age category ID tags and "W" tags for walkers (front & back of the running vest).
- Foreign athletes must comply to IAAF Rule 4, par 2 regarding handing over their permits to the organiser.

Unlicensed runners:
All entrants of the 21.1 km and 10 km Road Race
must obtain temporary licences by adding an additional R20.00
to the entry fee. This number must be worn on the back of
the running vest and the race number issued by the organiser
must be worn on the front of the running vest.

Age Categories: (age on day of race)
- Juniors: under 20 yrs
- Seniors: between 20 and 39 yrs
- Veterans: between 40 and 49 yrs
- Masters: between 50 and 59 yrs
- Grand Masters: between 60 and 69 yrs
- Great Grand Masters: 70 yrs and older
