Take 5 Team Relay for Running and Walking teams
The Take 5 Team Relay Series consists out of 2 events.
The emphasis falls on fun and enjoyment where the casual runner/walker can
participate together with active runners/walkers as a team under uniquely
structured categories.
Teams will first enter under one of the seven Team Categories and then
in the appropriate category namely Business Enterprise, Sport Club,
Educational Institution or in the Open Category.
Categories
- 7 Team Categories
- 5 Business Categories
- 2 Sport Club Categories
- 5 Educational Institution Categories
- 1 Open Category
Route and Distance
- The route will be divided into five legs for running teams and three legs for walking teams. (The same 5km route is run or walked by all team members.)
Changeover
- The same changeover situated at the venue will be used by all
runners/walkers to hand over the team baton.
Teams
- Teams will consist of five running and three walking team members, each running/walking a different leg of 5km. Teams enter under one of the seven team categories and one of the five business, two sports club or one of the five educational institutions categories.
There is also an open category with three team categories.
